Actually, a huge history of the team :)

This racing team actually has a long history going all the way back to 1991 when it was formed as Jordan Grand Prix by Eddie Jordan. This was the team in which the Great Michael Schumacher made his debut in the Belgium Grand Prix of 1991 itself after one of

the drivers: Bertrand Gachot was sent to prison for beating up a Taxi driver. Throughout it’s 14 year history, the Jordan team did have some strong results like in 1994, 1995 w hen they came 5th in the Constructors Championship, rookie Brazilian Driver Rubens Barichello won them their first pole position in 1994 . Then in 1998 they signed ex-world champion Damon Hill as well, but he never performed well enough and retired after the 1999 season. Though the 1999 season was a disaster for Hill, Heinz-Harald Frentzen, his team mate, scored enough points to be 3rd in Drivers standings and Jordan was 3rd in Constructors Standings as well. In fact, mid-season and towards the end of the season, with a few races remaining Jordan were in a position to challenge for the championship as well. Frentzen also entertained hopes of being world champion but misfortune and the quicker pace of the Ferrari’s & Mclaren’s intervened.

From then on, the team never was strong enough to challenge for championship points and after being Jordan Grand Prix for 14 years between 1991 to 2005, the team was sold of to Midland Group in 2005. They competed for 1 final year as the Jordan racing team and then renamed the team to Midland F1 Racing in 2006.Spykar F1 Cars Orange and Silver
