Because I have played F1 racing games so much on my PlayStation, I pretty much have the Melbourne GP track and some others memorized but for the benefit of those who are not and would like to be familiar, here’s a ride through the Melbourne Circuit with Michael Schumacher! This is Schumi’s pole position lap in the 2003 season, it’s a real pity they did not show how much and where the driver is braking, accelerating with on-board shots then like they sometimes do today. You can still make it out with the engine exhaust sound.

The sweet sweet sound from that monstrous 700+ BHP Ferrari engines dies down or cools whenever Michael, lays off of the gas and hits the brakes, turns and accelerates midway through the corner. It’s just awesome to see the master of the trade in a Ferrari tearing the time-sheets on this track.
